    Dear All,
    I have recently updated my Blackberry Q10 with the following software release:-

    Software Release: 10.3.1.1784
    OS Version: 10.3.1.2582

    So far the update seems okay but still Im having issue with the low volume notification - especially the ALARM. Anyone else experiencing the same issue with other releases? Hope BB would have a solution to this quick as the low volume alert sound is quite frustrating.

    I loaded the previous 2576 and my volume is fine. Definitely louder than on previous leaked 10.3 versions (I never got an official OTA release).

    Has anyone compared the sound in Maximum volume while playing a MP3 song as compared to the notification volume at Max? I notice a significant difference in the volume.

    Did u adjust the volume slider in the alarm app when setting the alarm? It's located on the screen where you pick the Alarm Tone. It has to be adjusted for alarm that you save.

    - Yeap ! Indeed i have slide the volume to Maximum but the volume of the alarm sound is still quite low as compared to the actual sound volume while the - same song is being play using the Music Player. I am not too sure if I am the only one facing still the problem with low sound notification.. =(

    Hope anyone else who had such experience or rather have any feedback on this fixes (version release) that i can re-install.

    Make sure that you have saved the new adjustment as the new default setting. If not it will go back to the way it was before you made your new adjustment.

    Yes, Q10's still seem to have low notification volumes. Volume levels on all other devices have seemed to be fixed.

    Yeap. I did save the setting and in fact i tested the alarm sound in the alarm setting noticing the sound was quite low as compared to the actual sound of the song being played using the Music player. Thanks Bob
