Not to state the obvious, but if Nordic carriers sell it, it will have an appropriate keyboard, just like the 9900.

I've seen a Cyrillic keyboard on a Q10, though that may not mean much since I suppose there might be a much bigger market for Cyrillic than Nordic keyboard...

I contacted Trigcom in Norway about the very same question. They told me that the Q10 will come with the Nordic keyboard, but not until june/july.

I've had the Q10 since release in Norway. Keyboard is fantastic. Double letters on KLIOP with on. You choose the letter you want by double tap on the key. Works great but sometimes I wish I could tap shift or something to enter nordic letters since when needing two K og two L i have to wait an extra second to type it.

Are you saying that you need to double tab the a or o key to get local characters like , or ?
If this is true I'm pretty disappointed. The psychical keyboard is a big feature of Blackberry and for the Q10 to success in non-us countries it need local keyboards.

Tamikkelsen: I'm also Norwegian and have a q10. Have you found out if this can be changed? If not have you reported it to bb? On my keyboard I have a yellow shift button to the right of space which I assume is meant to be used in correspondence with the nordic keys that you've already mentioned and which is also yellow. Quite irritating to have to wait a second each time I want too input two i/o/p/k/l....

Any solution or more info on this? I have talked to Trigcom briefly, the guy on the support phone there said that they were aware of it, but that they didnt have an immediate solution. This is a bit bugging, when the phone and keyboard is so great on all other stuff. The easy solution would be to make use of the orange (dont need two keys for making a capital letter?) key in the right lower corner and turn of double-tap on k, l, i, o and p (software tweak?)

I agree. I've sent BlackBerry a message on twitter. They replied in such a manner that I don't think they completely understood the question. Haven't received a clarification from them yet. Did trigcom say anything about BlackBerry being aware of the problem?

Does anyone know, if it is possible to write nordic letters with an English keyboard?
I mean if the physical keyboard does not have the Nordic keys.

Yes, i have both nordic and UK version, on the english version just double tap on I, O or P. The only difference with the Nordic version is that you have on iopkl as orange letters.

Interesting, I also find it annoying that I can't double click e.g. "k" without getting "". My yellow arrow+"k" though works.
Just to let you know, it worked perfectly on my Torch, yellow arrow+"k"="", but the double click didn't exist. So I could type as fast as I wanted, one of BB's strenghts. But apparently some "genius" found out it would be faster to get "" by double-clicking "k", and didn't understand the conserquences. I almost threw my Q10 in the trash when I discovered that.

If anybody is talking to BlackBerry, just tell them to do the same with Nordic letters as they did on the Torch. Or of course even better, make it an option for the user.

Right now I'm pretty annoyed with this!

No quarter: what are your language setting? I've tried with with several different settings but even when I've choosen norwegian and qwerty_nb it doesn't seem to work with right shift+k.

Will not help, Telia isn't connected to BB servers like an official carrier. No updates will push thru with Telia. (regardless that BB10 doesn't need special BB Data Plan like the old BB phones)
