Does anyone know where I can download Google maps for a Blackberry Q10? I have it on my Z10 I downloaded that one from 1 Mobile Market but when I try it for me Q10 I keep getting an error message any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

You need to sideload Snap. I've downloaded Google maps onto my Q from Mobile1 with no problem.

Yes, you are correct. See the link below on how to sideload Snap. It's really a simple process to install.

I had Google Maps on my previous Q10. When it developed a problem and warranty replaced it I put it on my new Q10, but have some trouble. I can't seem to log in, and in general, it's a different version that I'm not as happy with.

Here is a screenshot of the login screen on google maps. Is this the way it is supposed to look? It won't accept my info. If I tap add account it goes back to nothing if I tap below it nothing happens.

Thanks! I thought that I had been able to login on my last Q10, but maybe I'm mistaken. It's just annoying because it keeps suggesting to me that I login to save time

No problem! It never worked on my Q10 and still doesn't work on my Z30. You're not alone.

Download google account manager from 1mobile App Store. It will let you add your google account and prevent that pop up in the future. You will also be able to see recently search places and set favorites

I looked for "google account manager" on 1mobile and did not see anything by that name. Is that name correct?

Yes that is the name. But I was wrong I actually downloaded the API from a good search. So just look for google account manager APk. If you can't find it PM your email address and I will send you the file

I don't know how to PM! Don't use it. Can I trouble to to tell me how you found the apk or suggest another way that I can find it?

I also had it downloaded from 1Mobile on my Z10, just changed my device to a Z30 and found that it didn't work after a restore of my apps from the Z10. I deleted it and tried downloading again from 1Mobile but now told it's not compatible with my device cos it requires android 4.3. I thought the new OS 10.2.1.3247 which is the same as what runs on my z10 has got android 4.3 runtime?

I use Google maps and it works. Just have that login issue. It's strange though, as an older version that I sideloaded using 10.1 was fine

As for apps, some work fine some don't.
