Hi,
I try to open up BlackBerry Link on my PC to sync up my files and import my photos/videos, and I get the error message "BlackBerry Link has stopped working" pop-up. I went to Blackberry's website and reinstalled the latest version of BlackBerry Link, and go the same result when I tried to open it.

How do I fix this? Thanks.

Are you running iTunes on your PC?

I'll just assume so

Rename the iTunesPrefs.xml file and relaunch BlackBerry Link

To rename the iTunesPrefs.xml file;
Turn on Show hidden files and folders
Navigate to C:\Users\<userid>\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\
Rename the iTunesPrefs XML file file to iTunesPrefs.old
​Once completed, it would be recommended to turn off Show hidden files and folders.

Yes, shouldn't be a problem but if you update iTunes you will have to do it again

Addendum to yesterday.
Tried unsuccessfully to "backup" prior to upgrade to OS10.3.3.XXX could not get link to acknowledge link plugged in. Downloaded anyway Q10 said communicating with computer.
Download completed.
?Results. Only time will tell.

Carjackd, thanks I tried it and now I am able to open BB Link.
Now when I try to connect my Q10, Link does not "see" the Q10 (shows as not connected)
Also, BB Link shows that itunes is not installed and wants me to use WINDOWS Media Player to sync my music. Any idea on how to get Link to reconnect with my Q10 and also see iTunes?

Thanks again. BB Link is now able to see my Q10. I am able to transfer my photos and videos off my phone. However, when I try to sync the media (music), it just shows the little "spinning circle" like it is trying to load the sync relationships, but keeps spinning for many minutes. Is this normal? If not, any help on how to fix this? Thanks.
