Why does that blue BlackBerry Hub bar have to be that large? The size could be easily reduced to 20% and still be usable.

I'm on Q10 so every pixel matters.

    Thoughts?

You know what bothers me? If I set the font lower than 8, nothing gets resized!

I've always been a fan of "more content on the screen", but on BB10, it's just a waste of space. So I keep the font at 8.

But they got rid of the hardware keys to maximize space! Space that is now taken up by soft keys that do the same thing....

The bottom bar, I can understand.. but what gets me is, say, the space between emails is still the same. Doesn't matter if the font size is 8 or 5..

If it were properly done, I'd be able to se more emails using font size 5.

Yes, i see your point, as screen real estate is precious. Doesn't bother me on the Z.

You could adjust your font size to the smallest you can easily read to compensate on the message side of things. Get more on the screen.

Yeah that also. Good thing you brought it up. Hub could use an overhaul.

As mentioned, adjusting the font won't really resize the hub spacing. Each message still has this huge space. Makes font adjusting pretty much useless (smaller, not bigger).
