    Currently I don't believe so, but maybe future API? Would be nice for twitter clients for sure.

    It's coming, but can't yet.

    BBRY has already shared this with some higher profile apps. I understand that WhatsApp update brings this once you're on 10.1, for example.

    Only for select apps like Skype and Whatsapp so far as far as I'm aware. Would be great to have more options though.

    I had hoped BlackBerry would do something like this with BlackBerry News. Having a RSS feed implemented directly in the Hub would have made it even more special than it already is (imo). Hopefully they open up the APIs to allow developers to do this in the near future.

    What I think would work is if they could add a pop-up dialogue after you install an app that can integrate with the Hub. It would basically just ask if you want to let the app integrate with the Hub. Also maybe an options in the settings to disable/enable the entries?

    The two above would work I do like the sound of the second one more due to the direct interaction with the HUB and Application.
