Hey everyone. I loaded my first leak on my Q10 last night. I don't know why I didn't do this long ago. It was super easy and I didn't have any significant hang ups in the process.

There is one thing that is slightly bugging me about the new OS. I lost my capability to do a Google search when typing from the home screen. The only options that are available in the extended search are "Help" "BackBerry Maps" "BlackBerry World" and "Password Keeper." does anyone know if this is just how it's gonna be until there is a new release, or is this something I can change?

    Thank you.

Did you restore from a backup after you did it the second time?

When is the update supposed to be released for general consumption (AT&T)?

Easy solution: do global search, swipe down on top, click settings, scroll down to global options, uncheck any one (you can put it back afterward), save. Presto.

Hmmm. I wish it was that easy for me. I tried doing that, but my Google search didn't appear as one of the options when I went back in to recheck my choices.

I had that problem on an earlier leak but on Q10SQN100-3/10.2.0.1743 those steps fixed it for me.

Dang-yeah, that's weird. I tried reloading the OS. It worked fine and I had the option to search Google from the home screen. When I restored the device's setting with BlackBerry Link and restarted the phone, the option was no longer on the extended search.

I guess my next option is to reload the OS and repopulate my contacts and calendar using a third party solution and redownloading my apps.
