Wondering if anyone has used both the black and white Q10 and can offer opinions on the build quality differences between the two. I've always wanted a white blackberry, especially after seeing the 9900 in white. Unfortunately it was never available for my carrier (verizon), until now. I'm aware of the differences in the battery door, as the white Q10 has the same back as the white Z10 (which I immediately thought to feel cheap as soon as I held it). I've ordered a black Q10 thru verizon for this reason, as I feel the black Q10 in this case is built to a superior quality than the white for some reason. So far everything on the black Q10 looks way more professional and sleek, not so plastic and shiny looking like the white. Though something about the white intrigues me. Black or white and why?

In my opinion, not much difference except for the back cover. It is nicer in black. The reason I took white is simple - it's always in a she'll case. Despite the fact it is BLACKBerry, WHITE still looks much better. And I had black 9900 and black 9800 before

Yeah the white does look good I have to agree...never wanted a white BBRY until i saw the white Q10 for the first time in pics. The door isn't cheap i'd say on either device. It just doesn't have the soft touch as on the Z10 black. The reason again being so it wouldn't be tarnished easily, getting "blue jean dye" on it etc as would a softer finish would result. Other than the battery door, there's no real difference between either. I always said i'd get the white, but man the Black Q10 looks amazing, very sleek and stylish --> traditional BBRY.

The black Q10 battery door is impressive, and while I don't think the white Q10 backing is "cheap" per se, it is still plastic. I believe the border around the screen on the white is also shinier than the black, with an almost iphone like gloss to it.

I was on the fence black vs. white, went to TMobile today and played with the black one, they didn't have a white. Called Verizon and ordered the black one, it's shipped. Wife will get the white one in 8 weeks when her two yr contract is is up.

I have a black 9900 for work so I'll end up with both until IT get around to upgrading, which they will in about six months.

The only thing I don't like in white Q10 is the quality of the soft she'll case I purchased (OEM). It became grey after 1 week of use.

I feel it's personal preference.. I've always been a fan of 'Black'Berry cos of the more sleek, sophisticated and professional look..

It used to be personal preference for previous blackberries, but in this case the materials are different beween the two models. If they were built the same way, say as the white and black 9900, then white all the way.

Black BlackBerry's forever. I would only consider a white one if I was getting two of the same model (one white Q10 / one black Q10 for example). Otherwise, always black. I don't get along well with white devices, I know I would always manage to get them dirty

I decided to order a white one because I got a good deal on it and I liked the white 9000 in comparison to the black 9900. Honestly I feel like white Is more unique, sticks out more in public, still looks very polished and professional, and holds a higher resale value

Love my white Q10! Very bold and stylish looking. Really stands out. Too many black boring phones out there.
