Since the last BBM update, BlackBerry has changed the way for inserting smiley's: when I want to add a smiley, the stickers page pops up first, instead of the traditional smiley's page... very annoying! I've searched the settings, but can't find it. Is there a way to change this behaviour, so that when I add a smiley, the smiley page pops up first instead of the stickers page?

No there isn't anyway to change this right now. We beta testers have complained but so far there has been no change.

Not to mention we need the ability to remove stickers if we choose they no longer suit our needs, find them annoying and or useless.

BlackBerry is taking a very efficient product in BBM and cluttering it with all this junk. Now what used to take one press to get emoticons takes two because it defaults to these stupid stickers I have zero interest in. Not to mention the stupid updates on new stickers available all the time. I want an opt out option for stickers. I understand stickers are big in some part of the world, but that doesn't mean they should be forced on the entire world.

Won't get better if the people who originally approved the whole sticker implementation have anything to do with it. This is not a bug, or a good idea not fully functioning, rather it is a truly ridiculous decision by somebody who doesn't understand what the BlackBerry brand is supposed to be - unless of course TOYS-R-US now have a controlling stake in BlackBerry and are repositioning the brand.

The update fixed this sort of. When you type something it defaults to emoticons, if no typing it defaults to stickers.
