I don't understand, does BBM cost your internet data on your contract or come from somewhere else? The chat with virgin mobile was a bit unclear, saying one thing then another:

I don't see where they are saying two separate things, as it pertains to BBM? She says twice that this service plan includes unlimited BBM.

The type of SIM doesn't really matter. What you should confirm is if BBM is unlimited even on the new BB10 phones, because they handle data plans differently than older BBs do.

Edit: never mind. It kinda makes sense now. Without getting too technical here, BBM still goes through BB, and the carrier seems able to differentiate that from regular internet usage (facebook, youtube, and pornhub.) So any BBM activity will NOT count against your 1GB, while everything else--which goes through the carrier now--will use your 1GB data bucket.

Not BBM and email. Only BBM. Email goes through the carrier too now, on BB10 phones. So you get unlimited BBM, and 1GB for everything else.

I'd think they would mention it for every level of service plan that had it. If one doesn't say it has it (like the �10 plan,) I would ask the confirm, but work under the assumption that it doesn't.

The people in the live chat always work around my questions. If I ask them anything other than what I can already see they pause for about a minute or two and return with something I didn't ask for. Like I asked two or three times specifically when and how the SIM is activated (incase orders are delayed and I lose days off my one month SIM) and couldn't get a clear answer...
