I want to user my BB Q10 as a media player - something akin to an iPod.

I have about 8,000 mp3 tracks in my media library, but my 10 year old iPod classic is feeling its age, so I thought I could use by old Q10 as a makeshift iPod.

Is there anything equivalent to iTunes out there for BB, that I can play on my device and sync winh PC? It'll be much the same as iTunes - update the 'play count', last played date, rating, etc..

Well when it works LINK will sync with a PC.

But no, nothing like using iTunes.

If Link works for you and you have iTunes on your PC, Link will sync your iTunes music and playlists to your Q10.

Notpod might work. It is supposed to let you sync iTunes with any device.

Another approach... There are plenty of apps that will sync files, folders between your PC (Mac in my case) and a USB connected device. I have an app (SynkPro) on my MacBook that automatically syncs my music folder with my SD card when my Q10 is attached by USB. Perhaps not as elegant as syncing directly with iTunes but it's an alternative practical approach.

NOTPAD looks interesting, but can it sync playlists? Or do I have to do that on the device itself?

Hi friend, I have drive my Q10 as a music box. I think inside of this beautiful build is a great quality sound chipset. I have use a lot of music app like: neutron / music app (default one) and phonograph (sideload android app) / streaming music app is soundcloud and spotify. I make a music combo that use Q10 like a source then + DAC + Marshall II headphone. I love this muse. Below is some pictures of mine. Cheers friend!
