    My phone turns off as soon as the battery goes below 18%, I think the battery needs recalibration. Can someone help me with this ?

    From what I can surmise this is the operating limit for the ?Q10. Don't use below 20% battery reading. It may give problems with the battery life etc.
    I recharge at generally 40%. Have spare batteries as a backups.

    I don't think this is the correct option, I have read that you need to use the battery till it lasts
    Other phones perform the battery level goes below 5%.
    Need to find a solution for this issue.

    Mine will go into battery saver mode at 20%. However, it used to not shut off until it got to 5% but now it does it at higher percentages. I would be interested in this as well.

    Lithium ion batteries don't need to be drained before a recharge. I usually recharge at 20% battery life to maximize battery life.

    I got in that situation 20-25 times just last year . Battery save mode is activated at 13% , and it not shut off until 0% is reached ( about 10-15 mins on 0%). And my Q10 is 2� years young ,same for battery . I charge my when i have charger beside me i dont care if its 90% or 5% .
    About "dont go under 20%" im not shure what is point !?!?

    Can not comment on why you are having issues.

    However, I can confirm - battery will go to 0%. Goodness knows weekly I run my batteries to the limit before I insert a fresh charge!
