I would just like to ask for some of your application recommendations for bb10 (particularly Q10), specially now that this OS seems to be standing on the edge of a cliff. I want to have apps that would last me this phone for like 2 years at least.

My personal recommendation for you:
1. Rad.io - something like tunein, but with much better interface, and I personally prefer this.
2. Afterlight - sideloaded android app that works really well.
3. Skype - I'm actually surprised that it works like charm.
4. Play Tennis - very good game to pass time.
5. Gravity Racer - another good game.
6. Cleaner - now I'm not quite sure if this works but it's free so give it a try.
7. Instagram version 7.14.0-19528317 - works perfectly. I don't have to pay for native app.
8. Merriam-Webster Dictionary - free android dictionary app.

I also use Face10 and Messenger Pro.

I'd say it works very well for what it is. The developer is great and still supports all their BB10 apps. It just received a big redesign a few weeks ago. I've only used it a couple of times but it seems to work well. There are eighteen different sounds to choose from. You can combine/play multiple ones and they each have a low/high sound setting. You can set a timer to have the sounds cut off after a set period.

CascaRun Pro: for exercising. Fully native, great functionality.
Evernote: for cloud notes, across all your devices, with great synchronisation inside Remember
BlackBerry Travel: works great when travelling.
Snap: great Google Play 3rd party client.
BlackBullet: soo handy for sharing links, files, text across devices.
Blend of course.
WhatsApp while it's with us.
File Manager: can't say enough good about it. Can access files from dropbox, my computer, my media card from it, can zip up files, support for wildcards when searching, can change a file type.
PlayCloud : for offering printing capabilities.

Those are the ones I use and love the most.
