Dark theme vote here too.
To my taste more beautifull and elegant, and more appropriate to AMOLED screen.
And +1 to make "Seetings" dark themed too!

But of course I can imagine that other will prefers with one. Of course let's custumise that under seetings!

Not bored at all and the dark theme is one of the things I love the most about the Q10. Even if we had the option I would still always choose the Dark.

AMOLED screens use a lot more power when there is a lot of white on the screen, so a light-colored theme would run through the battery much faster. That's obviously the reason for the darker theme.

I TOTALY LOVE the dark the and i want it on my phone every where!!! on my old blackberry i used the theme creator to customize my torch theme to dark and purple, it was awsome... I do not want white background, its so 2005! Dark is much more elegant and easy on the eyes, thannks BB to give me the option to choose and personalize my phone. personalisation is one of the most important functionality on a phone.

Oh and please let me choose the font size in Facebook PLEASE! it is so tiny right now!

I too love the black theme. I would love it if Blackberry completed the black theme in all areas though. It just doesn't feel quite right to have the Hub & Settings in white but SMS and BBM in black.

I loooove the black theme - It was a major disappointment when the MR update changed the calendar to white: Such an eye sore (for me). After I day, I couldn't stand it anymore and sideloaded the old dark themed calendar.

Having said that - I think, choosing the theme you want (per app? - as I think the hub is better in white than black) would be the best way to go.

There'll be a tint but it probably won't be a complete colour change. And I don't know if you can change it yourself or if it'll depend on the app developers.

If having the black screen means it'll help me gain a little more battery power during a long day of conference calls and emailing then I'm all for it. Heck I say turn all the menu items black and give me more battery power!

I'm not sure. I've read that a dark theme I'd good for battery life. I kind of like it! And I agree with the user who said that looking at a white theme early in the morning is not very fun.
