For me, I do get double typing but only when I am typing blind.

When I am typing while looking at the keyboard, there is no double typing, so it might just be my fingers that is causing the double type.

I bought mine used off Amazon and haven't had any issues so far. It's been a couple months now. I'm not sure how long the previous owner had it. I just hope the double typing won't start on mine. If it does then I might buy a Q5.

Have had Q10 for 1.yrs. Got a "refurb" from AT&T (thank you) for a recurring problem, minor. Also had a slight double typing issues. Replacement solved both problems. Am a slow typist. So far so good. Will probably buy another.

If possible, make sure you get the SQN100-5. That seems to be the model with the least hardware issues.

 Once you go BlackBerry you never go back...Berry 

I have a SQN100-5 and do experience the double typing. It's not bad, but it keeps me actively cleaning between the keys and occasionally blowing in there as well to try and dislodge any trapped dust or dirt.

I have 2 Q10s pretty much since launch. A black one on Rogers and a white one on Bell. Never any issues at all with either of them.

I've had my Q10 for over 2 years, and never experienced double-typing...until a few weeks ago. Doesn't happen much, but it's happening enough for me to notice it. I'm considering picking up a new Q10, since they're sub $200.

Am using second Q10 sqn 100 -5. No problems double type wise with either. First unit was replaced with a refurn from AT&T (thank you). So far so good. Great phone.

Using sqn100-1 for over 2 yrs. Rough treatment. Been dropped and banged around a lot. Keys still feel fresh. Never a double typing issue. Rock solid device.

I have the q10 for more than 1 year. I think i did experienced some double typping with 'a'. This was between some 10.3.1 leaks, only for short time. Now is all good.

Never happened too me??? I would see soo many post about this and always wonder when I would experience this. But have had my Q10 for little over 2years and nothing??? But course after this post I'm sure I will. =\ 

I feel like I can also compensate with my typing not to double type.

Before when my keyboard was double typing, I was hitting the keys from far, with a pretty high force. Now, I make sure to have my fingers glide over the keys and make sure that I do not hit the keys from that far of a distance.

Most of the times, the keys are fine. It will occasionally double type (once every couple weeks or so). It is easy enough to fix, and certainly easier than having a full touch screen keyboard everyday.
