    Someone please help!!

    I got the official version of 10.2 from my carrier yesterday but when the update has finished, none of my android apps whether port from BB world or sideloaded are working!!
    It will just show the loading screen and when the blue bar is half way through, it crashes! Tried hard reseting with volumes keys already and still not working. What should I do?? Find it quite annoying as it's the official 10.2.

    Version i'm running now is 10.2.0.1767

    Hmm that's weird you on official os but the runtime is broken,if I were you I will sideload the android runtime
    You know how to sideload?

    This android runtime sideload to your phone after that do hard reset by press vol +/-

    Did you do hard reboot after installing the android runtime?

    Read the comments for textnow in BlackBerry world. Some android ports stop working after 10.2 upgrade. I miss textnow but 10.2 is worth it for me... so much better!

    Right after I reloaded the OS, android apps could work but when I restored my phone with previously backed up data, android app cannot work again. Any thoughts?

    All ready tried un install android apps and reinstalled, but no luck. It seems that the android runtime crashes at some point

    My android app are working now but it took some drastic measures. I reloaded the OS completely (back to factory default) and updated to OS 10.2. Then slowly downloaded my apps one by one and slowly transferred back my data (not using the restore function in blackberry link). I suspect there's some corrupted data in the backup file.

    But now the newly sideloaded android ports namely viber, instagram and clash of clans cannot run on the new runtime.

    Did a security wipe that took ages, but at least now the Android apps are working, and fast too.

    Download runtime 595. This problem can be solved easily.

    You had the same issued and that fixes it?


    I have restores to original o's multiple time and tried variations to restore it and have the same with Skype and essential android ports not working. No sideload on my phone

    I have the exact same issue as you. How did you selective restore data? Also did you think of the following. Method

    Restore to 10.1 os
    Restore using link
    Delete all apps
    Hard reboot
    Upgrade 10.2, ?
