If it won't be too much to ask, could you share some photos of your Q10 with the mugen and the mugen batt itself? Thanks cowboy!

Thanks! Would like to see photos of the mugen battery itself, unattached to the phone.

And with the mugen battery's bulky size, does this mean that we will not have any sort of case for the Q10?

Unfortunately not. I don't see how any case could fit it.

    Hi, thanks for the review!

Have you been able to find a decent case for your phone with the battery?

Thanks for the review! Did downloading the Volt app help with the bogus 0% battery level indicator?

Great. Thanks. My usual battery cycle is about 2 - 2.5 days. With turnoff around 10pm and activation about 8 am. Your experiences would give a LONG battery life for me. Very important, any heat problems?

Excellent, I'm reading this with a portable power pack connected to my Q10. I guess the overall size is thicker and more clumsy than the Mugen extender battery pack. Also interested to see how the Volt app performed? Thanks for the review.

Edit: I only get around 11 hours of use on my Q10 with the standard battery. Not really good enough. But I do have a spare battery. Just waiting for the bundle pack so I can charge both phone and bundle together.

Love the pictures and the review, I feel so spoiled, cannot WAIT to get my Q10 and extended battery on the Verizon network! Longest battery life with the best network and BB10 my favorite mobile OS, my Transform Ultra had 4250mAh battery but that was on ****ty Boost Mobile, and running Gingerbread...

Just a small tip for those considering getting the extended battery.

I recommend that you get the white cover instead of the black one.

The black cover has a thin coating of grippy material. While it would be nice if it stayed on, it doesnt. So it gets ugly quickly.

The white one does not have the grippy coating, but it looks and feels better since there is no coating to come off.

I switched to a white cover after breaking my first black cover. I am so glad I did that.

I will post a picture of my black Q10 with the white back extended battery cover.

Thanks for the heads up, sucks that I already have the black cover on the way, but when it does start to wear out (and the inevitable double-typing starts to occur) I'll be sure to switch over to a white back, as well as a white-and-gold keyboard. That, along with 200+GB microSD, I'll be straight pimpin.

Do please post the picture, I'd very much like to see it!

    Great review, but consider this:
    - for ten euros (at most) you can get a Q10 standard battery.
    - a standard battery lasts 8 hours (at least).
    - for 90 euros I can get 9 standard batteries which will do me 8*9=72 hours versus your 60.
    - only difference then would be size and the fact you don't have to remove your battery.

On my side, I'd go with the standard batteries. But to each his own.

Forgive my typos, I don't look when I type

Replacing batteries is such a hassle though... and you'd also have to get a seperate charger for your extra batteries if you don't want to charge them one at a time in your device.

With an extended battery you don't have to deal with all that, you just have to plug in your device every 2-3 days to charge.

Sorry but you shouldn't buy Mugen HK fat batteries anymore. I already bought several articles to them but, since november, I have been waiting for an extended BB Q10 battery. I wrote many emails and opened tickets : zero answer. Except the weird (and perpetual) 'processing' status, I don't know what happened to my order.
Forget this brand, they became not serious.

Actually, you might be surprised to know that it feels better thicker.

The more "meat" to hold on to certainly makes it feel better for me.
