Hi all,

My Q10, after updating official 10.2.1, has lost all its linked contacts (I linked google and facebook contacts)
Is there anyway to backup and restore them? to link them all again is really waste alot of time

The same problem here. But as you can see, the contacts are in the device but there are just invisible. I tried to create a contact with the same name, and the phone asked me do I want to replace existing one or create a new one. The only problem is that the existing one is not visible

Same problem. And I backed my contacts too. They just weren't restored with the links

Having the same problem with invisible contacts on a Z10 after official 10.2.1 update.

Now I've noticed that maybe contact loss is not the fault of 10.2.1 update. I restored my Q10 to my previous OS because on 10.2.1 I saw huge slowdown in text typing, apps and other actions. So right now my BB is running on 10.2.0, like before and even now I cannot restore the linked contacts. The backup was obviously made on the same OS 10.2.0 and still it doesn't work.

Try a hard reset and see if they come back.... hold down the 2 volume keys at the same time for about 20-30seconds

8520 -> 9780 -> 9900 black -> 9900 white -> 9810 white -> 9810 white -> Z10 white -> Q10 whitee

Actually I found that If you had them synchronized with Outlook, there is a simply way to restore them.

Are they restored with the link or just phone contacts ?
