I've tried uploading through the gallery or just directly from the Facebook app itself. But everytime I try, it always shows uploading in the notification bar for hours, and NEVER uploads! I have tried uploading with wifi, then even data but neither work. I have to kill the notification myself somehow which is difficult! I have even tried clearing the cache, and re downloading the app together. But no luck! Can anyone please help me?

You can't do much with Facebook currently. It's a big hit mess. Loading the android version to see if it's good

    No. It's a BlackBerry 10 only app.

If you are on for Priv, then it is an issue with the Android version of Facebook, and nothing that anyone here on CrackBerry can do to fix it. Have to take it up with Facebook developer. Oh, and good luck with that by the way!

I don't use Facebook or even have an account, so I have to just troubleshoot without it.
Is there a setting in the Facebook app that limits size of attachments?

No issues uploading here. I find that Facebook takes a while though, and their notification of what's going on isn't really helpful. No real status. It may also depend on the size of the clip, there's some compression going on there. But you'd have to bug facebook to see what's up.

Update. I was able to upload a 15 second Instagram video today. But then when I tried the 5 minute video it was still always stuck on processing. Eventually later Facebook told me it would take 56 hours to upload it!! Wow ..

Once, just once, I was able to successfully upload a video on the Priv, trying again today and it has hung for 3 hours, even with a phone reboot. Very frustrating.

Unless I'm mistaken, videos are transcoded after being uploaded, so you are uploading hundreds of megs if not gigs when doing this. (eg. a 5 minute 4K video is something on the order of 1.2GB).
Any performance problem is likely either a limitation of the Facebook application, or an issue with the upload speed on your internet connection, or both.
I know on my home DSL connection, a 1.2GB upload would take 4-5 hours.
How big are these files you're uploading?

I just tested uploading a 5 minute video using Facebook app version 57.0.0.18.136.
Video file is 1080p - 600MB on internal storage.
When I post it to facebook, the progress bar rolls up to 10%, then stalls.. but if I pull up my device notifications, I can see Facebook app is reporting: "Processing Video", and has a progress bar. It took about 5 minutes to process the video. The next notification that comes up from Facebook after that is: "Uploading Video", and that takes about 1 minute.
Shortly after that, the video appears on my timeline when viewed from a browser.. the entire process took about 6-7 minutes start to finish.

Perhaps you can see which stage yours is getting stuck at. Regardless, it seems that the process works, and is entirely self-contained in the Facebook app, so any performance problems should likely be directed to Facebook. Doing a quick Google search, it seems the problem may not be unique to Priv.

Make sure that you are uploading video to Facebook with the correct file format, MP4 or MOV is the highly recommended format. In addition, the maximum video file size for Facebook is 1.75 GB and the maximum video length is 45 minutes.
