Whats the point in deleting all google apps? I mean google maps is the best map out there, a lot of people use gmail, chrome or google now, which offer good things. I deleted the ones that I didnt need, but not all of them, some are very useful.

What I haven't figured out is how to use the standard BlackBerry Charger to delete all those apps> Is there some hidden function button somewhere?

If you actually use Facebook and Twitter, try deleting them and installing Metal, a web app "wrapper" that handles notifications but is very easy on the battery.

This what I did day one except for maps. Facebook is the biggest battery drainer ever even on os10. I just use the browser for fb.

This is the craziest post I have read on this topic.

Another suggestion is to keep it switched off, I am sure it will resolve the battery drain issue significantly!!

That may work for some, but in my opinion, you shouldn't have to make all of these tweaks to get the performance on such a high end device.

Hopefully software updates in the future will resolve a lot of this.

It is not just the Priv , Facebook is a burden on any mobile device battery. The Facebook app has a lot going on in the background.

Just log out and log into Facebook app as you need. Pretty simple then it won't suck continuous battery.
I also "Block" all sounds and notifications in most apps in settings. Battery last all day. Also. Go into "Google Accounts" and each account and turn off the syncing of the stuff you don't need. I personally have then all OFF
