I really want to love my Prov, but the stock gogle music play is such crap when it comes to navigation compared to the music player on my Smasung Note. With the Note I pic play songs based on a file folder. By the google one picks all my mp3 files. so I have files from Anthony Robbins, to lectures to language course and regular songs all mixed together! grrrr.....
Also the with the Google player, as soon as I open it, it bring me to a "Liston Now" page, which is never what I eant so I need to navigate via the 3 horizontal bars and then to Music libary, and then pick Song...... so many useless steps. It has the worst under UI experience of any music player ever

Poweramp is an excellent music player, can be setup exactly as you want it and works flawlessly on my priv

Poweramp master race reporting in. Also, another interesting tidbit to point out about Poweramp, it has existed as a portable music player since the good old days of Windows Mobile 2002, so I figure 14 years of development specifically for mobile devices speaks volumes about the application

I use iSyncr to sync my iTunes library and play lists via wifi from my desktop to / from my PRIV. I run RocketPlayer on the PRIV.

I wasn't a big fan of the UI of PowerAmp.

But I did like Rocket Player and now currently using Black Player.

Black Player is cool because it has a gesture based UI and is very minimalistic in terms of design.

Blackplayer is the best I've used, great features especially the ease to find album art without having to download another app and the biography section for each artist is great. Good luck!!

Poweramp Pro is great. I did like Blackplayer as others said above but it had trouble finding all my music, and usually couldn't find my playlists. Did see them a couple times but kept deleting them somehow . . . so switched to Poweramp and never looked back.

I use Neutron Music Player... They have eval version so you can see if it works for you... its pretty good.
