Keyboard was always the reason I decided not to get a torch. I hope the keyboard on the Venice is really nice to type on... Like classic/Q10 nice.

I have no idea what you're asking...but I do know BlackBerry has made many devices without 'threats'. The entire curve series, and most recently, the BlackBerry Q5 which the slider keyboard reminds me of only less spacing. People are so hung up on the frets, as if BlackBerry has never made a device without em lol.

& ironically that's the only physical keyboard bb10 device that didn't have a double typing issue. Were they on to something with no frets? Hmmmm...

In some other thread someone was 'displeased' at the fact that the leaked pics show printed 'SD' and 'SIM' on the sd/slim slots.

    So yeah...

The Classic has the slots labeled so I don't see the big deal with that. Sounds like that person was just nitpicking.

The Q5 was a joy to use. I love that loud, clicky, island-style keyboard.

My first BlackBerry was a curve, and I enjoyed it.... still have it in fact, but relegated to my bedside drawers. I personally have not had the dreaded double typing issues, but many have, so if the problem can be fixed with no frets, I'm all for it!

Now someone will say "I removed the frets from my Q10 and it still has double-typing issues!"

    :face_palm:

When I saw those little phones with great keyboards my heart skipped a beat.

    Loved those things...

For people who think that this keyboard styling is new in the slider. Tell me did blackberry make a bold like keyboard, without threats before?
I'm sure BlackBerry never threatened anyone with their keyboard, maybe except Ryan Seacrest.
