Trying to avoid downloading and deleting app after app on my Priv... I'm looking for a simple weather app as similar to the stock BB10 app (if such an animal exists). I don't need anything crazy detailed such as precipitation levels, just something that gives me an idea of what the upcoming weather is going to be. Also a simple browser with reader mode like the one on the BB10 OS. Does the firefox browser have a reader mode?

Not sure about an uncluttered weather app but Yandex browser is a fairly straightforward browser with reader mode and nav bar at the bottom like BB10

Firefox does not have 'reader mode'. Voice activate for search, yes, but no reader mode.

Actually, it does have reader mode. On pages that allow it, there's a small icon in the url address bar. At its far right end. Tap it for Reader Mode, tap it again to end it.

Minute Cast by Accuweather is their older free version. Shows when precipitation will start/end within a two hour window.

Thanks for that info re firefox, i'll have to check each site i go to and give it a try. So far, no luck with any of the sites l've tried, including our national broadcaster who i felt sure would be compliant.

Firefox has reader mode, as well as Chrome and Yandex. I've installed too many weather apps, and the ones that are still around after the dust settled:

Wunderground is the most detailed of the four listed, Google is the most straightforward. Dark Sky is wonderfully accurate but has an odd map. Weather Timeline has my favorite layout and biggest selection of widgets to get just what you need on your homescreen if you're looking for widgets as well.
