I have zero official insider information but I'm hoping the VZW Priv launch is similar to the Z30. Just looked and found that the Z30 was launched on VZW less than a month after it went on sale on ShopBB. Fingers crossed!

In the U.S., the Z30 launched on Verizon in November 2013, followed by its ShopBlackBerry debut in March 2014.

Sooner the better. Dunno why the cdma units have to be locked out of the bb direct sales. VZ says they allow 'bring your own device' but certainly not avail in this case. Gotta squeeze every last drop of profit i guess.

EVLeaks has been on the money so far. He gave us a lot of insight into the Priv being on Android, production name of "Priv" from the "Venice" codename, and a lot of leaked documents for the phone.

Don't forget this tweet: "BlackBerry Venice confirmed for November release on all four national US carriers. "

A few years ago BlackBerry didn't proactively sell their phones like that so a shop BB in 2013 doesn't compare to the same store in 2015.

I do have faith VzW will carry it, but like all the other phones it will be a month after we see them released, and probably 50 bucks more.

As for the leak information, you're right... or he is/was rather, but a lot can change in that time just like Verizon passed on the pass port kindof suddenly (or rumor had it).

You get the other carriers to have coverage that works and I'd be happy to. Until then, yall need to stop saying leave verizon. Off Verizon or us cellular a lot of us would be paying for a phone and services we couldn't use.

You misunderstood. I'm not saying to leave Verizon. I'm saying to quit whining about it when it's obvious VZW has made it their business model. Deal the hand you've been dealt and quit carrying such a heavy cross.

Like I've said in another thread, I hate to be the guy saying this, but we already know Priv is coming to Verizon.

I'm switching from Boost Mobile to Verizon and I've got a Q10 on the way as a back-up phone incase something terrible happens to my Priv. Or, I decide I need BB10 in my life, I had been eyeing the Q10 for some time now anyways with it's removable back and ability to put a 4400+mAh extended battery in there. Or not, regular battery but keep the extended case, keep my contraband hidden and whatnot.
