Has anyone ever received this kind of virus warning while using Google Chrome?

Is this real? Should I follow the steps? I thought Dtek would detect or prevent this?

It's a pop up scam to make you buy something, or to give you malware.

Ok that's what I thought. The message doesn't really make sense according to my phone usage.

How do I get rid of it? Everytime I use Chrome it pops up!

Mine does that too occasionally. I'm still kind of worried about it, but I run a virus scan via AVG every day and it hasn't turned up any issues. Would like a fix too..if there is one.

Use a mobile browser with adblocking capabilities, like Firefox or Opera.

It's a popup ad scam and the only way to "fix" it is to use an ad blocker. Seeing as how chrome doesn't have one, I switched to Opera and couldn't be happier. Firefox also has an ad blocker but I find it (Firefox) to be laggy and buggy. Give Opera a try if you're not too invested in chrome.
