    Guys I want to know if the bb priv is unlocked without swapping sim cards, I bought an used one, got from att whoch is the same carrier that I have, the mepd command works?

    Try this:

    Settings>Wireless & Network>More>Cellular Network Settings.

    Do you see anything like 'SIM Network Unlock' there? Try checking with and without your AT&T SIM card in the phone.
