Every single year beyond the one we're in now, is a 'new year', technically.

So, 2018, when Android is on Angel Food Cake, we will be getting Harshmallow in that 'new year'.

Do you really believe that he was refering to any year other than 2016? if you did, your capacity to understand someone's speech is "technically" terrible.

    Since '14 was L and '15 brought us M, '18 should be P. I vote for Pop Tart. ;-)

    hi guys,

May I know that this phone can update to android 6.0 or not? Thank you.
You won't notice any difference! I have a Google Nexus 7 which updated to M and have read many reviews which also state virtually all under the hood stuff, so don't sweat it.

You will notice a huge increase in Stand by time. But yeah Marshmallow is all about optimising Lollipop.

I'm just gonna wait for the inevitable root access and custom ROMs that will come.

    Pop Tarts are underrated.
Popsicles, Pudding Pops (Bill Cosby edition) and Peach Cobbler are as well.

Don't know if there's any truth to it but Nutter Butter is being thrown around on the Android Central forums like it's a done deal??

Blackberry already confirmed the upgrade for 6.0
The priv is sold out like "forever". It's so bad that it didn't even reach Europe (other than UK), so they are selling more than expected for sure
BlackBerry also confirmed the PlayBook update to BB10. Made me go out and buy another one.

How long after it launched? wich tablet competitor was waiting for BB10 update?

Blackberry can't sit in a tree now, they have the same OS as other manufacturers, so the timing of update is now a factor that wasn't when blackberry was proprietary of it's own OS and nobody could have it.

Do you realize how different these two are?
The playbook 10 update didn't happen because of the weak specs of the playbook. The marshmallow update runs on my nexus 5, a 2013 phone. There's no reason for BlackBerry not to bring M to priv which would warrant a comparison to the playbook.

Wrong, there is one reason: the Marshmallow update eats a lot of BlackBerry's resources and if the Priv isn't a success, those resources are wasted.
