I thought I was just still getting used to the pkb size, but today I discovered that the 'u' key on my priv does not always work. If I click it on the right side or the bottom of the key, it does not type at all. The left side and top of the key works fine. Pressing it 'normaly' works most of the time, but will result in multiple typos when typing a lot.

This is my second priv. The first one went back to AT&T because of a creaky back and clicky screen. Should I try again?

Download Blackberry Virtual Expert. It has a keyboard test. Check it out a few times using the test.

But, yes, it should work properly.

I failed the virtual expert test for the u key. Looks like I'm going back to AT&T...again.

I decided to buy unlocked off amazon. The phone is $637 right now on amazon vs. $740 from AT&T. It's more upfront, but I think it's worth it for Amazon customer support and no bloatware.

After two defective devices from AT&T, I just do not trust their devices anymore. Furthermore, they made me sit there for over an hour the last time I exchanged my Priv to transfer my data over. Now I can transfer at home, then bring my AT&T Priv back for a refund when complete.
