I accidentally turned off pop up widgets for waze and I'd like to have it back, how do I do this?

I don't mean the general setting of turning pop up widgets on and off, I'm talking about individual apps.

They can be turned off by tapping the overflow button once the pop up widget has "popped up", but I can't find how to turn it on.

Also once I've selected a default widget, how do I change it?

when you swipe and the widget shows up there are 3 little ... on the top right. Press there and reselect respectively deselect the Widget

I cant swipe up or down the icon anymore as i have turned off the pop up widget for that icon.

Easy, remove it from startscreen and add it again from the app launcher
