It seems to me in broad daylight,as with most phones, one can generally speaking snap a pic and it should turn out nice. In low light I do believe one can do the same but there seems to be a few things to consider. With hdr on it seems there are spots that look smudged, but I think hdr is good for shadows right? Digital noise seems to pop up on on plain surfaces like walls, but adjusting the white balance seems to help with this. I am curious to how other priv users take their photos. What adjustments do you make if any? Do you even use the stock camera app, or do you use another camera app from playstore like camera mx?

Use BlackBerry camera App and make sure updated. All "BlackBerry Limited" apps have to be updated. all of them
I would say 99% of Priv users use stock BlackBerry Camera App.
