I'm not sure if this is a beta update or a release but I'm currently downloading an AT&T Software update.

I haven't received it yet, but will check again tomorrow. I'm also running the Beta OS. Thanks for the heads up.

That's AAG111 for non-US carriers and TMO. AAG153 for AT&T. Zip for Verizon.

I'd say ATT is doing the best we could expect from a carrier on updates. Not too bad!

So I called Verizon and of course same old same old. No idea when the updates nor visual voicemail will be out. Maybe the ticket for an advanced technology support ticket will be taken seriously. This is ridiculous. I really now believe that Verizon is purposely tanking BlackBerry and is in the tank for Samsung and Apple. No doubt. There is no way that I will ever buy a carrier locked device again. Next device will be a Nexus with BlackBerry Hub + services. Such bull.

I got this update yesterday 8/26. Everything has been fine BUT it downloaded without my permission when I connected to Wi-Fi AND then installed overnight without my permission while the phone was idle. It went Ok BUT took my phone out of service for HOURS since it was waiting on the encryption PIN when I woke up this morning.

Nice to get the update but let me plan the install.

I don't know what the update was for, but it seems to have fixed my overheating and battery drain problems. Now my Priv acts like my Passport used to act. I was about to do a warranty replacement on thus thing., because I'd have it in my purse and it would run hot and the battery would drain in about 3 hours.

I'm on T-Mobile in California- I'm downloading the Update now- I switched form Verizon to T-Mobile last Month- Tired of the BS, lousy Cell service in my area , and exorbitant pricing-! I now have 2 phones for 90 a month ! And I'm going to Europe on VayCay soon and don't need to worry about data Plans etc over there- etc ... Sad- I've been with them and their predecessors since the early 1990's! Did I get a call or anything ? No ! Sad how Companies take their customers for granted!

I returned home last night after being gone last week on a motorcycle camping trip up in the hills and received the notification of the update. All appears to be current and up to date. Although AT&T didn't provide the July Security Patch with the Marshmallow update they have gotten us current albeit a bit late. It appears AT&T will be providing us the updates however we still won't be receiving them in a timely matter. All in all I'm pleased with AT&T getting us the updates... I only wish they would push them sooner.

    Thanks AT&T!!!
