    Is anyone having a problem sending and receiving mms?

    I had this problem before and I think after the first update it went away. But now it's back again after this last small update.

    Is this a apn problem? Some of the settings in that menu are greyed out and you can't toggle on or off. One of those is called tmobile mms.

    I am using textra now and things work fine on that. But I would rather use the stock messenger to avoid unneeded apps and battery drain.

    you could try this, not sure if it work.

    Go to your phone dialer and type in *#*#4636#*#* that will bring up the testing screen. Scroll down to SMSC and the line next to it will probably be blank. Hit the refresh button next to the blank line and it will fix the problem hopefully.

    Didn't fix it.
    Tried rebooting too.
    I think it has something to do with the apn setting?? Even thought textra seems to work fine.

    Do you have Pushbullet installed, of any other app that syncs your SMS to your tablet or computer? If so, uninstall it.

    Another option to try is to go to Storage in Settings and clear the cache there. It should drop to only about 5mb. Then go into Apps in Settings. Go to All. Find Messenger and uninstall. It will revert you to the factory version. Then go to Play Store and reupdate.

    Then restart and see if that helps.
