    I am trying to understand the AT&T Priv situation.

    I know if unlocked it will work on any network. But my question is....

    WHY can't it ever update ever again?
    Can it not update via the computer?
    Is there any way around this update problem?? And why is this even limitation?

    That's a good question to be asking AT&T, you can load an OS as long as there is a loader released. Or if you had joined the beta team.

    You need an active AT&T SIM to get an OTA update.

    Or use an autoloader specifically made for the AT&T version.

    BlackBerry say they are working on an OTA solution, but that's the way it is now.
