    Was in a forum on maybe yahoo or other & merrily typing along & pressed the SYM ke to insert ambersand & d'oh... no popup, nada... anyone else see such a delightful surprise??

    Have not noticed that behaviour so far, but if you are new on MM i suggest a simple restart for now (even if I think it should not be need on a good OS).

    Check your keyboard settings. There is a new setting that makes use of the sym keys.

    I think your thinking of the Shift keys.

    Is it still everywhere that sym key isn't responding - try BlackBerry Virtual expert from Google play to check keys.

    Or do you have a webpage/app where it happens and others could test if devices act the same.

    Or am I completely misunderstanding the problem
