I'm getting static on my camera screen. Anyone else experience this?

Are you saying noisy photos? Or an actual sound?

I'm saying there is static on the display where it resembles an old school TV.

Sounds like a defective device I would return it.

I don't have 'static' however when I open camera app I get a high pitch whining noise. This noise seems to get louder and softer depending on the level of light the camera sees. For example if the image has a subject wearing a dark shirt or a there's a dark wall/background the sound it makes is louder. In a noise room you can still hear it. In a quiet room the noise is quite loud. I'm hoping there's a software fix it took me a long time to set up the phone. I'd hate to have to do it all over again.

P.S. rear camera only. Does not do this with front camera.
