I buy on ebay blackberry priv for parts now phone turn on but it's locked to start android enter your password 7/10 attempts. What happen if I put 10 times wrong password it will brick forever?can I install new firmware? Please help

did you forget your password? if you never put on in there, it belongs to the last person who had the phone. keep hammering at it and it will erase and then you can put your own password on it. Of course, if you don't have the same BBID, not sure if it will work....

Ask the seller for the password.

If it's set to wipe after 10 tries then it'll wipe, but you'd need the Google account the device was set up with in order to use it.

I have a feeling it was sold for parts due to questionable ownership rather than mechanical fault.

You can run an autoloader on it and that will erase it, BUT if it was connected to a Google account you will need that in order to set it up again. If you don't know it, and the seller doesn't know it, the odds are nearly 100% the phone is stolen and you're in possession of stolen property.
