    Actually, this is a good point--we should hopefully see some leaks of the device before it officially launches, so that'll be exciting. Also, there should be the government filings for the FCC, etc. The filings will show that it�s a real device and not just vaporware!

    I wonder if BlackBerry will have a separate launch event? I figure it'll launch in Europe or the Middle East, maybe the UAE, but will hit USA stores (maybe T-Mobile?) after some irritating delays...

    If it hits T-Mo I'll get one for a backup to my Passport. Dump a couple hundred down and let the rest roll into my bill for ~10 bucks a month .

    I'm guessing in December. I was really hoping they would release by summer but that's not going to happen. Chen keeps saying end of the year, so going by BlackBerry's track record, it pretty much means December.

    I thought BlackBerry put a lot more into the Classic launch than the Passport launch last year. It's weird because you must have to really spend to compete for attention during Christmas, and Christmas is a consumer rather than enterprise type of push. It may be that Christmas is when people buy phones out of contract and BlackBerry needs to move these out of contract. I'm not sure which strategy I'd rather see, but I'd love to see an August release because I want it sooner! I love the idea of the slider.

    I was personally hoping for a August /September release. But with the latest comments coming out of John Chen himself stating end of the year, we're most likely going to see it in December.
