After reading some of the threads about some hard-shell cases scratching the phone, and really not wanting to add too much bulk on the Priv, I decided to try out a skin by Skinomi. Obviously I don't expect much protection, but it'll hopefully offer some type of help from scratches and minor dings. I've used Skinomi before for a tablet and the skin is still on the tablet after about three years now. I'll let you guys know how the skin holds up and I'll be happy to answer any questions about the skin if there are any. Installation was painless and the cutouts were perfect. Below are pictures of the skin on the phone.

Let's say a year from now your grow tired of it and want to remove it. Will it damage the back? In the sense leave sticky residue over the carbon fiber look.

I'd be more afraid of the sticky stuff leaking chemicals into the soft rubber and breaking it down or something crazy.

It doesn't use the old sticky formula anymore. I remember the old ones were a sticky mess. I noticed this one was very different feeling. Even if it left some sticky residue, I've found the best removal tool is Goo Gone (can be found at Target or Walmart). One little drop on a paper towel will remove almost all the residue from a phone. I'd be more worried about my nail scratching the back when I try to peel off the sticker.

We shall see. I'm honestly more concerned about the durability of the little side pieces. I foresee my pocket catching a little piece and bye bye little piece. Either way, I'm willing to give it a shot. My second Priv had light scratches from simply placing it in my cup holder in my car (and my car is always clean!) That Priv back coating is crazy delicate for scratches.
