I pre-ordered my PRIV and since then I have been tweaking as much as possible to improve the experience. Finally got some decent Battery life out of it, not as much as I would like, but definitely workable... The one problem I am having is with Signal Strength... I live in Miami, and I am running on the T-Mobile Network. With my Passport I had very good reception most of the time, but on my PRIV i am at 2 bars most of the time... not sure if it's a SW problem or the phone itself... has anyone had issues with theirs??

Check the signal levels. I got more bars on my z30 as well but the signal levels were the same.

I am sure you can get an app but I used a code to get into the software screen. I will look for the the thread that had it listed.

Are you referring to the Test menu? dial *#*#4636#*#*, then select Phone Info, then find Signal Strength.

I made the switch from a BB Classic to a Priv and use the same carrier network (Wind Mobile) and I actually noticed better signal with the Priv. I have not had a dropped call or data service drop since I got the Priv and this happened often with the Classic.

I don't know if you have any previous experience with Android before. The priv will never last as long as a BlackBerry 10 device. You also have to remember that the QHD display consumes tons of battery
