I was looking closely at my Priv today and noticed the screen is a little different directly above the BlackBerry logo at the top of the phone. The difference almost looks like a sensor of some kind in the phone. I compared it to the Priv I am shipping back but didn't notice it as much. Anyone else got this?

Proximity sensor probably

Surago is correct.
Just like the Z10 where it's below the speaker and the Z30 where it's left of the speaker, the Priv has it just above the logo, and to the lower left of the speaker.

It is the speaker for telephone calls as far as can tell. If you look really closely you can see a grid.
