Last night I sent a text message on Verizon from my Priv. This morning I tried to send a text message to the same number. It didn't work. The message says "Sending" but it never leaves the phone. I tried to send to other numbers. It didn't work. I spend two hours with Verizon support. Finally they gave me a ticket number while they investigate.

Anyone else having problems sending Verizon text message from the Priv?

i remember a while back someone had the same kind of issue and the fix was deleting the text from the phone if i'm not mistaking

Disable VoLTE and then try making a phone call to another number. While on the call send a text message. This will send the text message over 1X rather than LTE. If it works, then the LTE is handling the texts incorrectly.

I've been having this issue! Only thing that seems to fix it is switching my Cellular Network to Global and then back to LTE/CDMA and then sending another text :-/

I solved the problem by deleting the Messages + app (the updates). I replaced it with the default Messages app (no +).

I have looked & looked. Can you tell me where you got the default Messages app? When I uninstalled Messages+ updates, I still had the + version when I looked at About.
