It's the productivity tab which is causing the problem most of the time. Disable the screen overlay in that program. Then you can make all the changes you want. The you will have to reactivate the screen overlay for the productivity tab in order to use.

Is there a reason you want to turn it off for this app only and then go back and turn it back on?

If you turn the setting off for everything, there is an option to temporarily turn off screen overlay, and after a few minutes it turns back on by itself.

Most people don't know which program is causing the screen overlay problem. Took me awhile to figure out and the specific program isn't mentioned by BlackBerry.

Thanks for the additional info, it's always appreciated by the forum readers.

Yeah. It is the productivity tab.

What drives me a little nuts about this is that just after I got my phone I was having hell figuring out how to simply disable permissions in the DTEK app and the collective response was that Android sucks and some app that I was using with screen overlay was the problem because it wasn't "compliant".

It was a BlackBerry App that wasn't " compliant".

I am having huge issues finding this and turning it off. Anytime I want to save something from Chrome I get the screen overlay a let but even when I go to Chrome to shut it off the disable switch is greyed out.
