I setup office 365 account just using email address and password. I left everything else default and it worked fine. I changed nothing in the cert field.

I kept thinking she wasn't doing something right, but she successfully logs in thru the chrome browser, but trying to set it up in the hub is giving her problems

Has she talked to the schools IT team? I know a bunch of schools will have resources to provide the details to set something like that up. If it's asking for certs it doesn't sound like it's likely O365.

that's what I told her, just wanted to check here first, she can log on thru the Browns and Microsoft app, but she wants to use it in the hub, doesn't want a separate app

I know someone who works in a school where the account used to be simple Exchange Activesync, but now devices need to be seen as trusted and require a token to finish the setup of the account. Your gf would have to contact IT for info.

You can try manually setting up the account with Office365

    Set the server to:
    Outlook.office365.com

I've always found it easier to just have them forwarded to my main account, but I like consolidation.
