Is it just me or the rubber coating on my Priv suddenly shows 'outbreaks?! I remember that particular part of my unit being smooth then all of a sudden i saw 2 small outbreaks - they're like pimples really!

I'm not sure if they are manufacturing issues or anyone is also experiencing the same thing. I wasn't applying anything chemical based so i'm quite puzzled why all of a sudden i see these outbreaks...

    Hahaha!

Really quite weird though, but I have no other explanation too. I guess i would just start 'using' my Priv versus to keeping it pristine.

Most likely oils from the skin getting underneath the surface of the material. I know this will sound funny, but I'm being serious, did you try squeezing them out? I know some Apple leather cases got this issue and you could literally squeeze out the spots and they'd be back to normal.

This is the bottom right corner, just above the speaker grille - you can see 2 small outbreaks. I can vouch that they were not there when i got the unit as i thoroughly inspected it and was very careful on the rubber parts of the Priv until now...

The origins of acne can clearly be traced back directly to rubber coatings. Prior to rubber coatings acne did not exist in this world.

I dunno about your Priv though OP. It's not even a year old, bit young to be going through puberty.

You joke but you haven't seen some of the Apple Genuine Leather cases. No joke, they get pimples you can squeeze out. Skin oils and moisture get underneath the leather.
