    saw some cheap "glass only" replacement kits from china on ebay to replace cracked screen on the priv if the touch still functions.....has anyone used one of these replacement kits? or are these scammers just dooping you into buying a screen protector?

    is it possible to just replace the glass and not the whole front digitizer assembly?

    I don't actually know, but typically I think it's difficult to separate the glass

    You're better off either buying the whole screen, or another used Priv altogether. Way too much work with just the glass.

    Replacing just the glass is possible but very hard and even pros dont succeed at it all the time. Also a new priv screen costs 300$ while a new priv phone only costs 230$ now so youre better off buying a new priv lol

    I'm in the same situation. Have the screen off now. Just staring at it trying to decide on how to separate the glass and digitizer. Has anyone attempted it? Any tips or suggestions?

    someone one here tried to do it, but had a major issue trying to replace just the glass. Ended up not being able to do it. Did u search for a similar thread?
