When receiving group texts sometimes a person responding to the group text will show as a separate single text. It will show they have sent an mms and it must be downloaded. The download never goes through and then another empty text shows up as unknown sender and is empty. A factory reset will fix for about a month and then the problem will return. Anyone else see this? I'm on ATT network.

Yes. Lollipop has a broken MMS API. MM fixes it. In the meantime, you can use Textra as your SMS app. It uses its own MMS API (in violation of Google rules, but who cares). It doesn't integrate well with Hub, but it works.

Once you get MM, you can go back to any SMS app you want, since Google finally fixed MMS in that OS.

Same issue here. I use Textra. Works good 98% of the time. Now and then I'll miss a mms message. Sad when basic functions like texting don't work.

Yeah it sucks. Android can do a lot, it just can't do basic stuff like good phone calls and texting with no loss. I hope blackberry works their magic on android.
