I have PlayBook chargers all over my house right now but I hear quick chargers will get the job done faster so I'm looking to try it out.

I ordered the car charger version from that same company on Amazon.ca today, will be here by end of week. I figured when at home or office I can use a regular charger but when I'm in the car running to meetings etc I can charge the phone quickly.

I really don't think it is...quick charging DESTROYS the battery...it is great in a pinch if you really need it...but to do it all the time will decrease the life of the battery significantly.

If you did to 100% charge then yes it may degrade battery but QC automatically tapers current as it approaches full charge. That is why 20%-60% is so fast but 60%-100% takes 2 times as long.

No it won't.

QC properly handles this; it tapers once the battery gets into the 65-70% range. There is nothing wrong with charging at pretty-extreme rates (like 2C!) when the battery is in a low state of charge; the internal resistance is extremely low and thus there is little heat produced in that state.

Quick Charge 2.0 does not change the way battery charging takes place today. The level of the current going into the battery is controlled by the OEM and depends on battery capacity, battery type and other factors. Quick Charge 2.0 allows device manufacturers to achieve the full rated capability of the batteries they choose while still meeting the performance and safety standards set by the battery manufacturer. With Quick Charge 2.0, the life of large-format batteries (2000mAh and above) will be in line with that of smaller format batteries charging from traditional USB chargers.

No idea. Don't really look at it. I will let you know next time I pay attention but I normally don't as I go home pop it on charger and do stuff.
