I just looked, and T-Mobile has priced the LG V10 at $599.

There are some differences between that and the Priv hardware, but nothing terribly meaningful. So look at it this way: the Priv with its BB toolset and its BB keyboard is $100 more, at $699. Are those two things worth $100?

    I would say yes.

And while BB could similarly add those things to a $100 Android phone, and come up with a $200 Android BB, I sincerely hope they don't.

    It depends on your country:
Here in Germany the Priv is sold for EUR 799. That actually makes it the second most expensive Android phone you can buy around here. Only the S6 Edge+ with 64gigs of storage trumps the Priv. You can get the new Motorola Moto X Style for 499, the new Xperia Z5 for around 650, the LG G4 costs about 450. Microsofts new handsets can be pre-ordered for 599 and 699.
For comparison the original Passport starts at 440 and the SE sets you back about 520.

See what I did there? It's all about your own perception of value. I won't fault you though, you said "I" would say yes. Perhaps to you it is worth it. The general sentiment seems to be that it is not, and that is a problem for BlackBerry and PRIV sales. If you actually consider that that LG V10 is actually $100 less, and offers features that the BlackBerry PRIV does not, that further puts into perspective how overpriced the PRIV really is.

Do we need more threads on this? . The 30 or so existing ones probably summarized it up nicely already.

Usually in pricing threads someone eventually makes a comparison to how much people go to Starbucks so it's about 20 trips.
