My priv (stv100-3 factory unlocked working on Android 6.0.1) had a problem of 'screen overlay detected' till yesterday. I had to go to safe mode and got the problem fixed. My happiness was short lived as i realised later that in the bargain i have lost my productivity tab!

I went to the setting and checked under 'display' that productivity tab is indeed on. However the related option tabs of making the productivity tab bigger or smaller, lighter or brighter, left or right hand side of the screen :- they are all disappeared.

I have done my R&D but haven't been to figure out how to fix this.

Would really appreciate help if someone can tell me what i need to do to fix this.

I lost mine earlier in the week and had some trouble finding/enabling it again. It is one of those buried settings. Here's what I captured from another thread:

"Productivity Tab disappears - it is an overlay

Perfect! It was under "apps" , hit the gear icon on the top right, "draw over other apps" , hit the overflow button and select "show system" .
Scrolled down till I found "Productivity Tab" and toggled it on. And its back! "

There is no 'overflow' option!! Did you mean? - 'temporarily turn off overlays' button which needs to be on? If no then please suggest where do I find that overflow button. If yes then I guess u are suggesting that I wd find show system below. Please suggest.

It is a navigation nightmare!

Main Settings, Apps.

Upper right - tap the GEAR icon (not the dots).

Down the list: Tap on "Draw over other apps"

Upper Right - tap the 3-dot menu and select "Show System"

Scroll way down the list till you see "Productivity Tab" and toggle it ON.

Hopefully, that will work.
