Love the 4K video but when I turn it sideways for a video I can't watch it sideways without it then going the other way.

Then, also it doesn't seem to allow zooming in on the video after playback the way my Passport or Galaxy etc phones do.

Any ideas?

Sounds like you may have started recording in portrait and then rotated the phone. Video cannot reorient once it starts recording, so you may be playing back a video that keeps trying to show itself in portrait orientation.

Try this test:
1. start the camera app
2. turn it to landscape (make sure all the icons have rotated)
3. start recording a video.. record for a few seconds
4. play back the video -- does it play right in landscape?

(if you want to see the problem case I described above, don't turn the phone to landscape until after you start recording a video.. you will find it only fills the screen if you playback in portrait, as expected)

you should be able to pinch to zoom while recording.
in playback, that would depend on the video player you are using. you could try some different ones from the app store.. vlc comes to mind.
